Reserve Your Pig Share for Summer 2025

Stock your freezer with premium, pasture-raised Red Wattle pork—raised naturally and humanely right here in Southern Arizona.

When you reserve a whole or half pig share, you’re investing in the highest quality pork available. You’ll take home approximately:

  • 200 lbs of pork with a whole share

  • 100 lbs with a half share

Exact amounts depend on the pig’s weight and your customized cut selections.

We raise our pigs to about 300 lbs before sending them to the butcher. You’ll receive a cut sheet to fully customize your order. We’ll keep you informed through the process and let you know when your meat is ready for pickup or delivery.

Pricing

Whole Hog – $3.50/lb hanging weight

  • ~200 lbs of packaged meat

  • Estimated cost: $700 + processing

  • Processing: ~$350

  • Optional:

    • Cured hams/bellies: $20 per piece

    • Specialty sausage (Chorizo or Italian): $2/lb

Half Hog – $4.00/lb hanging weight

  • ~100 lbs of packaged meat

  • Estimated cost: $400 + processing

  • Processing: ~$175

  • Optional:

    • Cured hams/bellies: $20 per piece

    • Specialty sausage (Chorizo or Italian): $2/lb

Deposits (non-refundable):

  • $300 for a whole share

  • $150 for a half share
    (Deposit is applied to your final invoice.)

Freezer Space

  • Whole hog with oddments: ~7 cubic feet

  • Whole hog without oddments: ~6 cubic feet
    (1 cubic foot = roughly the size of a milk crate)


Pickup & Delivery

Processing takes place usually 1-2 weeks after deposit.
Meat will be available for pickup or delivery 3-5 weeks after deposit

Or, opt for delivery to Tucson or Sierra Vista for just $25. Rafter M delivers to both every two weeks.


Additional Info

  • All cuts are vacuum-sealed, clearly labeled, and frozen upon delivery or pickup.

  • Payment in full is due after your pig is processed and we receive the hanging weight.

  • Once paid, the processor will contact you directly to schedule pickup. Meat must be picked up within 2 weeks.
